Product Description
The Pro-Pointer AT provides all terrain versatility for locating and pinpointing metallic targets. It is environmentally protected from the elements and is fully submersible to a maximum depth of 10 feet or 3 meters.
Pro-Pointer AT Unique Features:
- Fully waterproof to 10 feet with orange color for added visibility underwater.
- Maximum Sensitivity for improved detection of nuggets and other small targets. Choose from three Sensitivity levels.
- Fast Retune: Quick button press instantly tunes out environment or narrows detection field for precise pinpointing of larger targets.
Retuning allows user to quickly:
- Shrink detection field to precisely pinpoint large targets
- Tune out mineralized ground, wet beach sand, etc.
- Help gauge target size/distance
- Help identify edges of large target
- Pinpoint multiple targets versus one large target signal
- Lost Pro-Pointer Alarm: After 5 minutes with no button presses, the pinpointer emits periodic warning chirps.
- Automatic power off after 5 minutes of warning chirps; saves batteries.
- Simple, single-button operation for Power, Retune, Sensitivity adjustment, and Stealth Mode.
- Ruler in Inches and Centimeters molded into side of pinpointer to judge target depth.
- Lanyard Attachment Loop molded into side of pinpointer.
- New power button is easy to operate even with gloves.

Having never used a pinpointer before, I have nothing to compare it to, but since purchasing the Garrett Carrot, I can't imagine metal detecting without it.
It is very easy to use and hasn't failed me yet.

I had the Garrett pro pointer before and had great success but with this one it's a whole lot better, very well pleased. Ackert Supplies has the best price that I could find and I well buy from them again. My brother also bought the Garrett AT Pin Pointer too and a Metal Detector so he is pleased too. Thank you Ackert Supplies.

If you want an all around pin pointer the Garrett AT is the one for you.
I recently used it solely on a beach under water up to 3 ft and found 25 coins and various other metal objects in 1.5 hours

Shipped fast. Using this in remote creeks in the mountains of B.C. and confident it will find lots of gold one of these days! First outing submerged it in a small pool under a waterfall and found a nail from a horse shoe. A quick wave over a crack in bedrock and beep, a tiny piece of gold that could only be seen with a 10x loupe! It's got more uses than you could imagine. Don't think about it, just buy it!

I took the Garrett Pro-Pointer AT out last week for an hour and was able to pinpoint items up to 4" in the ground which allowed me to dig smaller plugs and locate the item quicker.
This is certainly a time saver which makes this well worth the money. Add in the waterproof design and it is a no brainer - this is a must have item.
I also want to say that I received great communication and fast delivery from Ackert Supplies - so thank you for that! I will definitely be back again when it comes time to update the detector.

Always worried about damaging my Pro Pointer, whether it be in mud, damp areas, or even water, but with the new Pro Pointer AT, those concerns are gone. No need to seal off openings in my old Pin Pointer, to avoid getting water inside, or mud from trying to reach the found item under the mud. The new Garrett Pro Pointer AT, is all that you will need for your day to day treasure hunting.

The new button is easier to find by feel. Combined with the quick tune function, finding a target is now quicker and more persise. Scratched coins should be a thing of the past. Overall build seems very good. If you don't have a pinpointer the garrett carrot is a fantastic all weather design.
Fully recommend.....
