The 5×8 DD coil design is excellent for target separation and sensitivity in mineralized soil (most naturally occurring gold is found in mineralized soil). Small size is good for tight spaces, rocky areas, and high-trash areas, and has superior sensitivity to small pieces of gold.

Amazing Coil Makes the AT Pro a new better machine.
Just had here out for a hunt today and wow this coil is awesome! I was able to hunt a super trashy area and pick out some coins. There would be no way to get the targets I got today with the stock coil. I really recommend the 5x8 DD coil It's never coming off my detector!

This 5x8 helps to separate the good stuff from the junk in trashy areas. It's very light with the AT Pro and will be very effective for new beginners to pinpoint with. A very good buy indeed.
